How To Become an EMT!

EMT is the entry-level position in the ambulance service. Most aspiring EMTs enroll in programs at community colleges, EMS academies, or local hospitals. After completing EMT school and graduating, you’ll need to pass the National Registry exam (NREMT) to become certified as an EMT. Once you’ve successfully passed both your course and the NREMT exam, you submit your documents to the state, which will then issue your license to practice as an EMT.

  1. I’m Hoping To Get Into School This Year . I Have A Felony So Idk For Sure If I’ll Get In But My Hopes Are High ! I’m Doing Something For Me For Once & My DREAM JOB IS FORENSICS ANTHROPOLOGY ! ❤ WISH ME LUCK !🍀

  2. Why can’t you just take the NREMT without having to take a course. If you can pass it, well that should be proof. Since even people who have completed the course have failed. Someone passing it should have the skills necessary already. I bring this up because I’ve done multiple courses in the military, but none of em certify me or let me take the test, yet I’ve got years of experience and have been trained to do things that only Paramedics are allowed to do, not even EMTS.
