Before I became an emt / paramedic I was a rescue swimmer for the coast guard . I had prior experience , went to become a driver at a ambulance company but I book of emt and medic before I started school when I went to take
My clases lol I was like way advance I felt like I should
Of not been in the class it crazy tho because I started as a driver and 80
Percent of those emt / medic did not know anything but just transport Fio2 , ekg, and a basic vent I swear sometime I ask myself where did they get their lincense at
It’s incredible how different the pathway to working on emergency ambulances is in the US compared to Australia. It’s a great career, and your advice will hopefully convince many to get into this dynamic industry.
