  1. Canada, Mental illness patience with real trauma, getting raped and lives threatened from childhood, really bad – No trauma treatment, just labels and druggy’s filling the streets. Rich can get trauma treatment! Cause sounds like your considerations are pampered pets!

  2. Thankyou. I am currently studying as a social worker, and this was incredibly helpful and informative.

  3. About 4 minutes in,,,4:27. are the 6 trauma informed practice. 1. Safety, Safety is the opposite of trauma. this comes first. Psychological, physical ++ all layers. Most important thing. 2. trustworthiness and transparency…. this is also transparency , integrity. 3. Peer support. . 4. collaboration.. equal playing field. Leveling the power dynamic.. self agency. 5th. empowerment, voice and choice. Must be their personal choice, personal autonomy. 6 cultural gender, race. ++. As a person with c-PTSD…. from parent abuse.. I feel trauma informed should be able to recognize and validate those that create trauma. Most staff, doctors, .. can’t recognize trauma as it is happening. We can get gaslighted by providers.. Can they see the disorders, … can they slow down and listen deeper. I was getting retraumatized, advocating for my father, by hospital staff that .. deflected responsibility, 5 staff members, and would not assist in basic things… like an hour on the phone to find the name of his Primary care physician was draining. No one was accountable.

  4. Trauma informed care is bologna. We all experience trauma. Trauma is the nature of living life as a human being.
